1. Data We Collect

BullionTracker Pro collects the information you provide when creating an account (email address), and the business data you voluntarily log including scrap inventory records, bar records, sourcing locations, notes, and chat messages with the AI assistant. We also collect approximate location data (via your browser's geolocation API) when you use the Local Sourcing feature — this is used only to display nearby dealers and is not stored unless you explicitly save it.

2. Data Isolation

Your data is private to your account. We enforce Row-Level Security (RLS) on every record, meaning you can only read, create, update, or delete your own data. No other user can access your inventory, notes, or history. The platform administrator (account owner) retains override access for system maintenance and support.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To display your inventory, calculate melt values, and track profit/loss.
• To power AI-assisted market analysis and conversational features.
• To send price alerts and market reports (if you opt in).
• To process credit-based actions and subscription billing.

4. Data Retention

Your data persists for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual records at any time. Upon account closure, your data is permanently removed.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for payment processing. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers. We use AI language model providers to power assistant and analysis features; data sent to these providers is governed by their respective privacy policies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, export, and delete your data at any time through the app interface. For data requests beyond what the app provides, contact Base44 support.
